Chicago Stamps is now operated by Robert J. Pipes. I have been a stamp collector since receiving my first stamp album as a birthday gift at the age of 12. My interest has always centered around collecting and studying the US issues including the 19th Century US classics, the Washington Franklin issues, Airmails and modern issues through the 1950s.

 

This site continues to maintain the original vision of a single place where the best educational and information resources are combined with accurately described US material that meets the needs of collectors of all levels, from beginner to expert, from serious investor to the budget conscious, passionate collector...a vision of a site that could not be found elsewhere.

 

The original owners and operators of Chicago Stamps were presented with a rare opportunity to build a site designed to educate and inform the collecting community, promote this wonderful hobby to new and old collectors alike, and offer US stamps from the finest classics to the more affordable issues. They have developed a wonderful site and I will continue to improve it, add to it and operate it with the integrity and straightforward honesty you have come to expect.
